Custom Incentive Program—How to Apply
Energy efficient measures that are not on the Standard Incentives list may qualify for the Custom Incentives. Custom projects pay variable incentives based on annual electrical energy savings.
Program Process
1.	Contact the Business Energy Efficiency Program directly or through a Trade Ally (contractor).
2.	You MUST receive pre-approval for program incentive and follow these steps:
		Contact the Program at 314.436.0391 (toll-free 866.941.7299) or email us at BIZefficiency@ameren.com to qualify for a custom incentive project
		Submit Form 310C: Custom Incentive Application
		Project qualification stage
		Submit project bid(s)
		Request Form 320C: Custom Incentive Offer
3.	Participant implements energy efficiency project
4.	Project is completed and participant files application for incentive
		Request Form 330C: Custom Completion Certificate
		Submit final project invoice(s)
6.	Your application will be reviewed by the Program staff.
7.	An incentive check will be issued within 45 days of application approval.
Note: Incentive levels are subject to program guidelines. As of February 11, 2009, custom project incentives are payable at $0.05 per first-year kilowatthour (kWh) saved, with program incentives not to exceed 50% of incremental project costs. The maximum annual incentive per individual site is $250,000. The maximum annual incentive per individual customer is $500,000. Assistance may be available from the Program to quantify your project’s potential energy savings.
