New Construction Incentive—How to Apply
Projects may qualify for our New Construction Incentive under the following scenarios:
		Construction of a new commercial or industrial building
		Construction of an addition to an existing building
		Performing major renovations to an existing building (i.e. gut rehab for change in use)
Additionally, incentives may be available to design teams whose projects lead to more energy-efficient buildings. All new construction projects require pre-approval by UE and incentives vary based on project scope.
Program Process
1.	You MUST apply for incentives prior to the start of the construction to be eligible for program incentives.

		Download Form 410C: New Construction Incentive Application.
		Provide information about owner/developer, proposed building and construction schedule. Select Project Track (System, Comprehensive, or Post-Design).
		Submit Form 410C: New Construction Incentive Application by fax (314.814.8900), email BIZefficiency@ameren.com or US mail.
		Request Form 320C: Custom Incentive Offer.
2.	A design team meeting will be scheduled with the New Construction Coordinator to determine baseline design, energy modeling requirements and opportunities for design and implementation incentives.
3.	Following the design team meeting, a Form 411NC will be provided to request Energy Efficiency Design incentives and a Form 410C: New Construction Incentive Application will be provided to request Energy Efficiency Implementation incentives.
		Request Form C: Custom Completion Certificate.
		Submit final project invoice(s).
4.	Each incentive application will be reviewed and verified by the Program staff.
5.	An incentive check will be issued within 45 days of application approval.
Note: Incentive levels are subject to program guidelines. The maximum annual incentive per individual site is $250,000. The maximum annual incentive per individual customer is $500,000. Assistance may be available from the Program to quantify your project’s potential energy savings.
