The goal of our Key Account Program is to develop and sustain effective business relationships with Ameren Missouri’s largest industrial and commercial customers. Although each customer is assigned a key account executive, successful customer relationships require teamwork throughout Ameren Missouri.
Key Account Description
Typically, each key account customer has a demand greater than four megawatts (MW), individually or in aggregate. Other factors for program selection are political influence, community involvement, and a willingness to partner with Ameren Missouri.
Key Account Executives
Key account executives develop relationships at various levels within the customer’s organization, thereby gaining a broad understanding of the customer’s business environment, and an awareness of the customers' operational needs. At the executive level, key account executives address business issues, industry trends, legislative perspectives, economic development and energy related topics. At the operational level, key account executives concentrate on the customers’ day-to-day service needs, billing issues, policy and procedure questions, Ameren Missouri’s products and services, as well as tariff options.
In summary, key account executives develop mutually beneficial solutions to the business and energy needs of Ameren Missouri’s largest customers, and serve as the coordinator of information and services between Ameren Missouri and these customers.
