As part of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve, Ameren Missouri demands the highest quality in utility arboriculture. This standard of excellence has earned Ameren Missouri Tree Line USA
recognition for more than a decade. This standing is issued by the Arbor Day Foundation, in cooperation with National Association of State Foresters, to recognize public and private utilities that protect and enhance America's Urban forests.
The Tree Line USA program seeks to promote best practices and public education through five core standards:
- Quality tree care
- Annual training
- Tree planting and public education
- Tree-based energy conservation program
- Arbor Day celebration
Ameren Missouri plays a key role in sustaining our urban forests through our support of Forest Releaf of Missouri, a non-profit organization that provides low-cost or no-cost trees to communities. Ameren Missouri also actively participates in programs with the Missouri Community Forestry Council (MCFC), International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and other groups dedicated to preserving urban forests.
