How does the Retail Gas Supplier (RGS) or Customer find their Maximum Daily Nomination (MDN) for their accounts?
The MDN applies to all accounts and will be set based on the highest monthly usage over the previous 12 monthly billing periods, multiplied by 1.5 then divided by 10. The gas transport system (USMS) will not allow nominations to be entered above the MDN.
When is the nomination deadline?
The month-ahead nomination deadline is 11:30 a.m. CST, one business day before the first of the month.
