More efficient, more appeal!
In this program, we work with owners and property managers of federally-subsidized rental properties (USDA, HUD or Public Housing Authority) with three dwelling units or more to install a variety of energy efficiency upgrades. These upgrades will provide yearly savings in energy costs, plus help property managers and staff save time and maintenance costs by improving their properties - at no cost! Our
CommunitySavers program also provides your tenants education on how to maximize the benefits of energy efficiency.
Properties may qualify for some or all of these energy efficiency upgrades:
- ENERGY STAR® certified compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs
- ENERGY STAR certified refrigerator replacements
- ENERGY STAR window/through-the-wall air conditioner replacements
- Programmable thermostats
- Electric hot water heater insulation jackets
- Hot water pipe insulation
- Low-flow faucet aerators
- Low-flow shower heads
- Smart power strips
In order to participate, the building owner or property manager must complete an application and call 855.207.6254 to talk with an Ameren Missouri representative. Upon approval, the owner and/or property manager will schedule an appointment with Ameren Missouri to review and discuss the program.
