How? Use either form:

Online or PDF
   
When will my enrollment/changes take effect?
Changes to your enrollment status may take three business days to process.
After your Direct Pay enrollment has processed, a message will appear on your bill indicating that the amount will be automatically deducted from your bank account.
Continue to pay your Ameren Illinois bill as you do currently until you see the message on your bill.
