Is there a method to obtain daily meter information sooner than two-three days later?
Daily balanced customers are required to provide a dedicated phone line, which allows Ameren to retrieve their daily usage. Ameren schedules a call shortly after 9 a.m. and the data is posted to USMS in the afternoon of the same day, which allows you to view your daily meter information one day after the fact. <br/> <br/> Monthly balanced customers who choose to provide a phone line can view their daily meter information two to three days after the fact.
Do I need a dedicated phone line for my meter?
Yes. Ameren requires a voice grade phone line with a separate dedicated phone number. The line cannot be connected through a switchboard.
