Lyons is committed to driving higher levels of customer satisfaction through investment in infrastructure which provides safe, reliable, clean and affordable energy service. He champions a culture prioritizing safety, inclusivity and continuous improvement.
Prior to his current role, Lyons served in several leadership positions at Ameren including chairman and president of Ameren Missouri and executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining Ameren, Lyons was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Lyons earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Saint Louis University and a master's degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
Lyons is married with four children. He is active within the utility industry serving on the executive committee of the board of directors of the Edison Electric Institute, as chairman of the board of directors of Energy Insurance Mutual, and as a board member of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operators and the Nuclear Energy Institute. He is also involved with various community organizations, which currently include Greater St. Louis, Inc., Arch to Park Equity Fund, St. Louis CEO's Against Cancer, and City Academy. He has also recently chaired civic fundraising campaigns for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the United Way and Salvation Army.
