Vice President, Financial Services - Ameren Illinois
Jerry Grant is Vice President of Financial Services and Performance Management for Ameren Illinois, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation. Based in Collinsville, Ameren Illinois provides service to 1.2 million electric customers and more than 800,000 natural gas customers across 43,700 square miles in the state of Illinois.
Jerry is responsible budgeting/forecasting, financial analysis, operational performance reporting, asset management and risk management for Ameren Illinois. He serves as a trusted advisor to Ameren Illinois' Senior Leadership Team, provides insights and analysis that inform strategic decision-making, and helps the organization set financial goals and achieve them.
Jerry has been with Ameren for 24 years and has held a variety of financial leadership positions, including most recently serving as vice president of Financial Services for Ameren Services in St. Louis.
Jerry joined Ameren in 1999 as an engineer in Corporate Planning and was promoted to director in 2005. He was promoted to vice president in 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois, a master's degree in business administration (executive MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis and completed the executive development program at the University of Chicago.
Jerry lives with his wife in St. Louis County. He is a fan and supporter of the creative arts – music in particular – and serves on the board of directors of The Sheldon Arts Foundation.
