Tomc is responsible for power procurement, natural gas procurement, and regulatory policy & rates for Ameren Illinois. He has served various leadership roles in the company's legal department since joining Ameren in 2007. He helped lead the development of Ameren Illinois' efforts in legislation and litigated many of the regulatory reforms that have enabled Ameren Illinois to invest in its rate-regulated business and earn solid returns. He also leads the implementation of complex regulatory initiatives to improve renewable energy integration.
He holds a juris doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Law, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Emporia State University. He serves on the board of Fathers and Families Support Center.
